Guardia Civil agents belonging to the Algeciras Command arrested six people yesterday morning on suspicion of smuggling, public health, drug trafficking and membership of a criminal organization.
These operations are intended to respond to tobacco smuggling, and so they began surveillance services along the coast of Campo de Gibraltar. During the investigation carried out, it was determined that there was a powerful criminal organization dedicated to the acquisition of tobacco in Gibraltar, which was smuggled into Spanish territory through its coasts and then distributed to various points in Andalusia.
