    Cured cases win against new infections and reduce the number of active cases to 4,371 in the Campo de Gibraltar.

    Campo de Gibraltar is emerging from the third wave of the pandemic as the number of cured cases is considerably higher than the number of new infections. In the last few hours, 376 people have been released from the hospital, compared to 31 new positive cases.

    The number of active cases has fallen by 346 people, leaving the region with a total of 4,371. The new positives have been registered in Algeciras, which has 24; La Línea, San Roque and Tarifa 2, respectively; and Jimena 1.

    The coronavirus has once again claimed a life in Algeciras, bringing the total number of deaths to 201 in this town and 452 in the Campo de Gibraltar area as a whole.

    In terms of incidence, all municipalities, except Jimena, are below 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the situation in Tesorillo stands out, which remains at 0.
