Tomorrow Friday 27.11. the Christmas lights in Málaga will be turned on

Christmas under the sign of Covid-19: In Malaga the countdown for Christmas has begun. The lights that traditionally decorate the provincial capital during the holidays will be switched on tomorrow, Friday. For years it has been considered one of the most beautiful in Spain. Unlike in previous years, there will be no opening speech, no musical performances and no welcome concert. All this will be replaced by Spanish Christmas carols, which will be played in the background. The lights will start to shine before 6 pm during the day when all stores are still open. This is to support trade and gastronomy according to the city’s wishes.

At the same time as the lighting, the Christmas market on Paseo del Parque will also open on Friday. They have been set up at intervals from one another and along the entire length of the Paseos to avoid concentrations of many people.
